Substrate Preparation Guide

Plastic

A dedicated plastic primer is required prior to product application to ensure adhesion.
See Outrageous TDS for specific application instructions.

Aluminium

Etch primers must be used on any exposed aluminium surfaces prior to primer filler/top coat application.

Steel

Etch primers must be used on any exposed steel surfaces prior to primer filler/top coat application.

Wood

This can be a very absorbent surface that may require a sealer of some description prior to primer application. It may be possible to use Outrageous filler primer without a sealer coat although we would recommend application on a discreet area to test for adhesion.
